The Crux of the Problem
The reason our garden supports so few attractive flowers; half past two in the afternoon and you can see how much the house puts the garden in shade.
To give some idea, there's a 0.9 plus a 0.3 ND grad on the right hand strip bringing this into range, and I still see a bit of blown highlights at the top of the frame (but that's more exposure error more than dynamic range).
But never fear --we have a new planting scheme from a very good source (OK the internet) and have a new strategy for this corner. Now all I need to do is find a source for tellima grandiflora and we're away!
