Off With It's Head :-(

I planned for myself a good long walk
I decided to walk to the local garden centre at least 2 miles + from where I live.
Cold winds coming off from the sea a bit of sun warm scarf wrapped round my head must protect my brain at all costs.
I bought a small Gerbera plant to replace the Chilli plant I gave up on this morning as it constantly has white fly treated it several times," Enough" I said" out."  it happens every time I bring them in from the green house they thrive for a time then white fly or green fly attack.
I carried my prize so fresh and new home along the sea front this time
the winds were so strong, I feared for my tender plant, I stopped on the greensward to try to place it better in the carrier bag I held.!!!!!
To be swooped upon by a mass of Seagulls,Crows. all thinking I had a bag of foods for them. Laugh ! They followed me all along. 
but in my haste I chopped off this flower trying to rearrange the pot in the bag. the wind was trying to rip the bag from my grip.
anyway I have a very nice specimen for a little Orange glass vase now.
