Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon

Or rather brisk walking on a sunny afternoon. Quite chilly today, but the sun has been shining, and it was a pleasure to be out in the fresh air. So some shots of the River Yealm, and trees in the distance.
All of you camera owners - anyone own an Olympus C5050 - Zoom. This is what I used today, but for some reason, the camera will not hold any charge in the batteries for more that about 15 pictures maximum. When batteries are tested elsewhere, they seem to be fine, and full of charge. Help!
