Jess

Had some stuff to drop off at my sister in laws today. Meant I got to see Jess. She gets terribly excited when she sees me - all a quiver and cries, jumps all over me and then pops on her back and holds on to my arm so I keep stroking her!!!!
My niece showed me all the tricks she can do - what a clever wee dog.
I always come away with very mixed emotions. I feel terribly sad that she is not still living with us, I feel guilt that I couldn't make it work, but I also feel so happy that she is totally settled and obviously adores my sister in laws family and her wonderful life. She is a brilliant wee dog who is so sweet, full of energy and a full of mischief!!!! I'm so lucky she is still part of our large family and that she still remembers me.
The only negative was when I tried to pull my phone out of my pocket to take another pic of Jess outside and dropped it.... Completely smashing the screen. Grrrrr...... Reading what I'm typing is not easy! Fingers crossed I can get it fixed soon.
