St Joseph's Oratory
Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal, founded in 1904, is the largest shrine in the world dedicated to St. Joseph. Unlike most European churches, it is relatively modern and new, having officially opened in 1956. It's founder, Saint Brother Andre, known for healing the sick, was canonized in 2010. Millions of pilgrims and tourists visit the basilica each year. The building architecture is impressive and the views from its terraces are spectacular.
