Goat's beard
This is one of the lovely wild flowers growing along the old railway line where I walk my dogs. They seem to be the only things that appreciate all the rain and the yellow popping up regularly brightens our walk. it's official name is Tragopogon pragensis. It's a member of the daisy family.
I've just seen that I blipped the old railway line and the wild flowers exactly a year ago. Just click on the little image at the side to take a look.
