A Reader

The marketing rep of my Australian publisher today drew my attention to this clipping from a local newspaper here in Adelaide. An accused fraudster is photographed leaving court clutching... a copy of my latest book, "Coffin Road"! Well... clearly my books are being read in the best criminal circles!

Earlier I did my first (solo) event at the Adelaide Writers Festival to a massive turnout of something approaching 2000 people - the biggest gathering I have ever addressed as a writer. Afterwards I spent more than an hour signing books.

I have another event tomorrow talking about the career transition from journalism to writing crime fiction.
