Tender loving care
As last year, the holiday is starting in a low key way. We've wandered slowly up the east coast of Angus via Catterline, which I've long wanted to see because of my admiration for the work of Joan Eardley and then Stonehaven. Dunnottar castle was going to be on the agenda, but there were far too many cars in the car park for our liking. I once went there about fifteen years ago with some friends, and I'm sure it will be there for a few decades to come, so we'll go back when 'ce n'est pas le saison', as they say.
And I've put Stonehaven on the list for a possible early winter/early spring break. Very peaceful and picturesque.
Trying not to think about work, but that hasn't proved entirely easy so far....
