Breaking Down the Bird

There was a culinary competition at the college today.  Young chefs from around the region gathered with their high school teams and wowed the crowd with their cooking skills.  Breaking down a whole chicken is considered to be one of the staple skills any serious chef must master.  And it's a pretty cool thing to be able to impress your family and friends with the smooth motions of your well-sharpened chef knife, if you ask me.
