A slice of Lesley's life

A double slice

I know I've blipped this building at least once before but I've only taken a couple of photos today and, as I have spent quite a lot of the day here, it is probably a representative of a double slice of my day.

Usual early start to take Anna for her lessons and for me to finish the work carried over from yesterday.

Sort of mad dash home, were it not for all the rugby traffic making it mad but not all that dashy.

Similarly horrific journey for Carl and the boy to and from a tank session but number 35 is now done and we are hurtling towards our target 40 and beyond.

Combine dog walk with taking Anna to dancing. Home to make up bed for mom and dad coming to stay. Back for us all to pick up Anna from dancing and head back to here for us to drop her off to prep for a choral concert.

Me, Carl and my folks had time for a civilised drink in a nearby hotel bar before we headed back to meet up with one of Anna's godmother and enjoy an hour of tranquility in the midst of all the madness listening to 5 choirs from the Junior Department. It was all very lovely.

Home for take-out, teaching grandma and grandpa Exploding Kittens, and collapsing in front of The Voice.

Tomorrow will involve nothing but a dog walk and making Yorkshire puddings.
