Saturday: Joe And Stacey

So we thought..............'thought'...........that we were going into town today with my aunt and uncle to have a pub lunch and a few drinks. When we got to the pub, it turned out that the whole family was assembled as a surprise.........I should add that this isn't the first time they have done this, they have a bit of tendency to throw surprise parties.

We had a great afternoon, playing all kinds of games and quizzes with titles such as 'How Well Do You Know The Family?'. We had the room at the pub for the afternoon following which K. and I, my aunt, uncle, three cousins and two partners of cousins went for a few more drinks en route home. It's been a long time since I have had a Saturday evening/night out in Newcastle - it was quite the eye opener.
