My favourite wee bird

Once again we were out walking the dogs an the feilds and gorse bushes were awash with different birds, reed buntings, goldfinches (which I saw yesterday and added it to yesterdays blip diary) but my favourite of them all is the yellow hammer. They are like Scottish canaries and their song which is said to be "A little bit of bread and no cheese", so my old Granny used to tell me is just wonderful, there is an electric sort of sound to it, I just love them.
