Typical

When I uploaded this shot today I thought how very typical it was of the local areas where I often walk, it's not particularly soft countryside, but neither is it barren or harsh -   I'd say for me it's very familiar and comfortable.  Whenever we go away from home I'm always so glad to get back to the hills and it's been good to enjoy a  walk today even though it's been a bit on the cold side.  We've had no rain today, but when it does rain it can be the "sideways" variety as the west wind often blows so hard  -  nevertheless it's home.
