…of a very nice evening, spent with Jan’s colleague and husband.
We’ll wash-up tomorrow!
We ate slow cooked kid meat, which had been bubbling away all day, at just over 100° C, in a mixture of wine, vegetables and spices.
Many years ago we ate a fair bit of goat, because friends on a nearby farm kept them, but then they moved on to other things and since then it's been hard to source goat meat. We have to "make do" with lamb and reindeer instead, or eat vegetarian, which is fine too.
