Same scene, different conditions

This is the same, or very nearly the same, scene that I uploaded a couple of days ago, but without that interesting leading shadow. This, today, is as it looks most of the time. At least it's more welcoming than that rather infamous/notorious portal which proclaims "Arbeit Macht Frei". I've been there, too (in 1996) and on returning to my hotel I just sat speechless on the verandah and couldn't function for about an hour and a half, so distressing was that experience.
