Windy walk with Daisy

I took Daisy to Ryde today for a walk along the sandy beach there. I have not been there since Chrissel visited last year. It was a lot windy that I thought and it was hard going and cold with the wind in our faces, but Daisy loved it, running all over the sand. She made friends with the black dog, (he is a rescue dog, and is now loving life with his new family) in the extra. 

There were some kite surfers who were enjoying the conditions. The sea is quite shallow there. 

The other extra is the view to Portsmouth. I'm glad I'm not on the ferry today.
