The Thinker

Charlie is a complicated cat with a mercurial streak running through him. We never know what sort of mood he is going to be in from one minute to the next. One moment he's like a kitten suckling Marie's thumb and padding his paws on her soft clothing and then suddenly something primal takes over and he lashes out violently often drawing blood. He spends a lot of time staring into space and I like to think he's pondering his existence although I suspect he's just watching the birds in the sky. Like many cats he is a loner but only most of the time. There are times when all he wants is company as long as there is no touchy feely stuff involved. As I said he's complicated.
