Journey from hell

....and I'm not exaggerating! We left home at 3pm to collect ZQ from school at 3.10pm. We hit traffic in Tunbridge Wells less than half an hour into our journey. Four hours later we crossed the Dartford crossing! (We would normally do it in under an hour!) We stopped for something to eat at Birchanger Services near Stansted Airport and set off at a good pace. Half an hour from our destination and Noo vomited all over the back of the car! (Thank goodness for leather seats!) Poor boy - he was covered! ZQ was traumatised as he was also sitting in the back. We decided to keep going as it was already 11pm. ZQ protested loudly all the way. I tried to hide a vomit coated Noo when we entered the hotel, but he ran towards reception pointing at the ready salted crisps!!!!

So, here we are at quarter past midnight, watching DVDs and eating crisps in a hotel bedroom!
