Thursday: Shearer And Co

After two short flights, involving a transit in Amsterdam, K. and I are now in Newcastle, visiting family for a few days. It's been a few years since we have been and it's great to be back. There were things more important than taking photos today, such as catching up with everyone. Consequently, here is a hastily grabbed fuzzy shot, taken just before midnight.

It's one of many Newcastle United memorabilia items dotted around my aunt and uncle's place. There is a running joke that if the house was on fire, it would be a hard choice for my uncle as to whether he rescued my aunt or his season ticket!
