If you can't beat them...

An old "Field House"

Clickychick was helping The Mate shuttle cars around ( one back from the workshop then run him to the garage to pickup the other ) so she offered to drop me off so that I could walk home looking for blips.  This making for better opportunities than a walk out and back I took her up on the offer.

Our part of Cumbria is dotted with "Field Houses" dating back to the times when everything was horse powered.  It was easier to keep things like hay near where they were produced than cart them back to the farm in many cases.

This particular Field House now only provides occasional shelter for stock at the beginning and end of the grazing season.
