1st Place & Moat Finds

Oh goodness me. The Refurbished won! Social Club Quiz night and the Edication team won by a clear lead of 6 points. We had a lovely evening with cheese and wine, nibbles and fruit and lovely home made sausage rolls and cup cakes.

The find in the moat so far includes glass bottles, still to be dated, tools and masonry and a small 19th century fishing tackle tin, which the Curator is going to further research. Today they could feel hard floor at last and everyone is getting just a bit excited because we know that Edward 1 ordered Reigate stones for his bath house and there is a hope (somewhat slim I fear)!that they are still there.
