Today was the first day of the annual national Book Sale. Mum left me early in the morning to go to the crowded bookstore in order to find Bargains. Right. She came home with a couple of books for grandpa and three books for us, all about - dogs! One about dog breeds, one entitled "Happy, obedient dogs" (but seriously!) and the third, the only one making sense to me, with instructions how to bake your own dog treats. Could be interesting.

In the afternoon, we went to my very good friend B and her husband C for coffee and poodle smörgåsbord. Yay! They are both book lovers and have entire walls covered in bookshelves. C had also been to the book sale and brought home new books. I was super energetic and jumped up in their laps for cuddles many times. They have secret stashes with dog treats! In drawers and cupboards! Plus, I got astonishing amounts of sausage and liver pâté. No wonder I love them so much!
