Cat

A lot went on today.  The morning started with trying to keep the cat in the house- he was fasting from midnight, and so hungry by morning that I caught him stealing the milk off the alphabet cereal.  

So he was packed off for his general anaesthetic to get his teeth cleaned, and I packed off to work where we were moving to a whole new network, which involved dozens of people wandering around like zombies not sure what to do. 

A new noise on the bike revealed a chain link handing on by a millimiter of metal, so I had to do some floodlit maintenance in the evening.  I'm out of the habit, but the recent weather has played havoc with the bike(s).  I just took out a couple of links.  Don't tell anyone.  

Cat was fine.  No extractions needed, and he turns out to have neither thyroid problems nor diabetes.  I think he's just less fat because he eats less  .  For any visitors:  we can't stop him sitting on your head at 3am, but at least his breath will be fresh.
