Tulip Magnolia Bud

     This tree is behind my house.  There isn't a single leaf on the tree, anywheres.  It is 30-45 days to early for this activity.    You can see, at the base of the twig, a leaf bud.  You can also see the  bud covering  cracking open in anticipation to blooming.  Maybe tomorrow....
