When we got home this evening I did my usual walk around the garden, camera in hand. I came across another white spider in a pink hollyhock flower, this one was dining on a bee. I got out my tripod and went for some macro shots of St. Johns Wart flower. I am so happy they are growing all over our garden now! I got some neat shots of them. I was coming back into the house and the sun was shining through the window on this lantern light we have hanging casting a wonderful shadow in the golden light. I snapped a shot. Many nights I gather a few photos and call Glenn in to give me his idea of which one I should us for blip. He chose the lantern. Called our son in and he chose it too. I was going to post a flower. Maybe they are getting bored with so many flower photos? I wanted to post one that I worked at shooting but I decided to go with their choice!
This was quite the day. I made peach crisp last night that was wonderful! Took it into work today where it was devoured. Better them eat it than me :)
We took the little kitten to the vet. We found out it is a she. She was negative for feline leukemia, aids and distemper. Yay! But, she was full of worms and lots of fleas and was dehydrated. Poor thing. They say she is about 7-8 weeks old. They gave her fluids, flea meds, deworming and antibiotic for respiratory thing. And, the vet says she isn't feral as she is too calm around humans. She was just scared and probably in pain from the worms. She is on the road to recovery! And, since our son has laid claim to her since he was first to hear her meow, she is now our kitty :)
We had a good day at the store. Hoping it stays busy!
The weather was pretty good. Not as windy and it did clear up a bit this afternoon.
Our situation with our son is easing up some. I just keep praying.
I am normally not a stress eater but this week I have been crazy eating! not good
However, today was a good day. Better than the past couple.
Happy Thursday
