Hopeton01 - Nutkin

Furry, nimble, toothy, spright - Nutkin nibbles . . . bites

I spotted our little friend in the park earlier. Wildlife photography is not my specialism, so the longest lens in my pack is a 70-200L. Even on my 1.6 crop camera that view extends at best, to around 320mm. Although Nutkin allowed me to think I'd been a good Ninja in getting this close to him, the truth is I still had to crop fairly heftily to get even this.

In short, I can see why you Nature guys start at 400mm!
