Argoflex
Argus is an American maker of cameras and photographic products, founded in 1936 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Argus originated as a subsidiary of the International Radio Corporation (IRC), founded by Charles Verschoor.
The company's Model A was the first low-cost 35 mm camera in the United States. Argus was acquired by Sylvania in 1959 and sold off in 1969, by which time it had ceased camera production.
This one; the Argoflex Forty (1959-1954) has manual Aperture, Shutterspeed, Focus and the abilty for a 2nd exposure on a single image. Uses 640 film.
Bought it for a few bucks this afternoon. Needs a little TLC but I would like to use it for B&W portraits.
