Where would I be without my mobile!

Firstly thank you for all your lovely comments on yesterdays blip.

Well a few hours after posting my blip last night I nearly had another interesting one. We saw blue lights flashing right outside our window and the nosy people that we are opened the blinds to have a peek. Right outside were three fire engines and loads of firefighters staring right up at the top of our building!!!

As soon as we opened the front door we could smell the smoke but luckily there didn't seem to be a flame in sight from our roof. A firefighter said we were fine where we were but we stayed outside to check up on what was happening.

Turns out that it was just smoke coming from one of the chimney pots and we were told this sometimes happens when somebody turns their fire on and debris is in the chinmney!!

Thank goodness that is all it was.

Oh I blipped my mobile as it was the first thing I grabbed when we left the house - wonder if I would do this if it was really an emergency?
