What's that?

Thank you all so much for your comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's "2000" blip.  You are all what make this community so special.  I very much doubt if I'll make another 2000 unbroken, but here's the first of the attempt.

I shouted myself a new lens for getting a new job.  It arrived today. 

I was out cruising looking for things to photograph when I spotted movement in the grass on the other side of a paddock.  I wasn't sure what it was so pointed the camera at it and clicked.  When I zoomed in on the screen this guy was peering back at me.  I was astounded at the focus from such a huge distance.  

It's not perfect but given the distance I'm pretty astounded.  A very impressive lens indeed!
