A Midsummer Night's Dream

The RSC have called this production 'A Play For The Nation'. It will be touring the country, and at each of the venues local amateur theatre groups and schoolchildren will form part of the company of actors. A wonderfully ambitious project, for me it's the RSC at its best. Today's performance was joyous and uplifting - the schoolchildren playing Titania's Fairy Train were a model of professionalism.
