Lucy

It was such a breathlessly beautiful, cold and sunny morning that I walked to work along the canal for a change. It was something I used to do a lot when I started blipping, but I've dropped out of the habit of late. 

I was somewhat seduced by these wonderful crisp shadows on the footbridge and was waiting for someone to come along to add a bit of interest, when this dog ran into view at high speed, catching up with two other dogs who had just passed by a little before, with their lovely human. I was introduced, and we walked for a while along the canal. All three are rescue dogs and each a real character. They seem to have a lot of fun together. It was a lovely way to start the morning, which actually presaged an altogether better kind of day.
