Halifax trip...

It's now thursday and we just got home from our overnight stay in Halifax.   What a drive home....torrential rain most of the way....white knuckle driving a lot of the time.   Luckily Terry is a very calm driver...while i jump and squirm about - he maintains his cool and just drives!!!!

We had a lovely visit.  As usual we met up with Randy at the best sushi place in Halifax....we are now seen as 'regulars' and are treated so well.   Mind you the very first time we were there they treated us really well too.   The food is absolutely fabulous and along with what you order, they always bring an extra couple of plates of sushi...always different!  It's so wonderful!  I ate till i couldn't move!!!

The bnb we stayed at was very comfortable....the woman gave us an upgrade...we had reserved the cheapest room....just a nice bed etc., but she decided to put us on the 3rd floor in the loft, which was more like a little apartment.  very comfortable, sofa's, tv., kitchenette etc.   We loved it, and hopefully will return on our next visit to Halifax.

A trip to Halifax isn't complete without dropping into the local art supply store....had a lovely time!!!!  I'm all set for my trip to Cuba and other stuff that i needed!!!
