Soup machine

While I was spending money (actually, Christmas vouchers), I thought I'd buy a soup maker. I didn't know such a thing existed till I saw a couple in Tesco.

They're supposed to save the bother of making the soup in a pan then transferring it to a blender or using one of those hand-held blenders that never quite get all the lumps out, because it cooks the soup and blends it all in one device. You can also make smoothies with it.

It arrived today, so of course I needed to make some soup for lunch. I looked in the cupboards and in the fridge. All we had were onions, so I made onion soup. It wasn't bad!
