From Night to Day

The Moon was dipping down, as the first red signs of the sun peeped over the tree and rooftops. This was my view as I arrived at work. 

Sorry to be so brief yesterday. My Mum had just arrived with my daughter - who had been representing her school at the Battle of the Books competition. They won. Well, they didn't just win, they completely trounced all competition. My daughter is absolutely thrilled, and even happier that Grandma saw her do it!
