Song thrush in the snowdrops

Today's the day .......................... to sing

Another lovely day today - cold but sunshiney.

This song thrush was down by the river among the snowdrops, picking at bits of grass almost as though it was considering a bit of nest-building.  So that's a good sign.

It was the only picture I took today - but it's actually quite appropriate.  It's choir tonight, so I'm off to do a bit of singing myself .........................
