An eager welcome!!

In the vain hopes of being fed!!
 
After three consecutive days in town for appointments and stuff, we went into Lincoln on the bus this morning just to go to the pictures. Relaxing time out, a couple of hours when I just sit and watch the film, without half a dozen other things on the go!!
 
We saw Suffragettes, a most interesting film. I know a moderate amount about the subject, absorbed over decades, but not a subject that I’ve researched in any depth. It made me reflect on the benefits of today’s life for women in a more equal society in the UK and the price that the suffragettes and women of that era paid to achieve their goal!!
 
The information at the end of the film showed the years when women got the vote in a number of countries in the world. I was surprised !!!!
