Old oak

Continued surveying for veteran trees today at Whaddon Chase, the ancient hunting forest in North Buckinghamshire. This wonderful oak was our best find, with a girth of 6.5 metres. Nearby was a cluster of old willows and field maples - I good little fragment of woodland.
