Alp!

I'm a shameful monoglot, and rely heavily on the lovely Janet to get me through a mulitligual day. Her skills don't lie heavily in Italian, however, and today has been a little stressful. not least because the iPhone failed utterly to allow any calls or broadband, despite being set up with roaming and data pack... This meant when we got to Milan we had no mapping, no email to contact the apartment or any ability to respond to their wondering a as to where we were... Ah well. We are here, in Milan. Fashion heart of Europe. I'm not known for my fashion sense... Or, clearly, common. But, as someone once said on film, tomorrow is another day. And yes, them were the Alps.
