Tay sunshine

The last time I took this view it was dark, and I thought it deserved a better day.

I used a polarising filter. I bought it a few weeks ago and I've been waiting for some sunshine to use it. I didn't see much difference through the viewfinder, but on the screen the improvement is dramatic. If only all lenses took the same size filter. I also used an old Olympus OM 50mm 1.8 lens; mainly because it fits the filter!

I spent the afternoon by Loch Leven at Kinross. There is a lot to photograph there, and I expect I'll go back, but the sun had hidden again and so there was no sparkle.
