Hot Pursuit

Note to self: Summer fell on a Thursday this year.
Today I did a rehearsal walk with one of my fellow Walking Out people. It was a lovely day with blue skies, fluffy clouds and great views. We saw chiffchaffs and a linnet, quite a few fungi, a huge woolly bear caterpillar, a hawker dragonfly and a few butterflies. These small tortoiseshells danced around in the air before settling on a wall together
I hope we get similar weather when we repeat the walk in about 10 days.
