Tulip Macro

Long day at work... the visitor leaves tomorrow - I can't wait.

I sit in the lab in the late afternoon while he keeps working.  There was rain and bad weather all day but as the end of the day nears, the clouds begin to clear and the light turns golden.  I look out the lab window at the pink and purple golden clouds and I yearn to get my camera.... but not to be.

When I got home, I really thought I would not have the energy to blip... but the tulips have spread open and they are almost done - and I got out my camera and macro lens to capture them.  I really like several of the shots I got - but this one's symmetry really speaks to me.
