Sun Dial

Apparently this sun dial is not parallel to the Earth's axis because according to the sundial it says the time is 1:45 when in actuality it as 12:02.     I guess last time I was out here I never thought to check the time ( could be cause it was cold and windy!)  though it was overcast you should have been able to read something. 

Did a lot of yard work today after coming home from a short visit with my son.  He had wanted me to come over and check out his new windows. The sliding glass door is still not installed as they brought the wrong one, so he is still waiting.  The windows in the bedrooms make a funny noise each time a car passes by in the street, so the window company is to come by and check on them.   Will see what happens!
