It never rains but it pours...

As the saying goes. Wonder where it comes from?

Though no time to wonder. What I thought would be my chilled out couple of weeks with minimal work and maximum sorting our lives is so far turning out to be the opposite. In the last week or so, three new work opportunities have popped up and, such as befits the sole trader life I can't really tell them I'm busy painting furniture and getting a pre-holiday pedicure. Perhaps next week. Actually, the furniture would probably be best painted outdoors and there is really no chance at all of that at the moment. Today was a lovely sunny start but the now standard rain turned up mid-afternoon and hasn't stopped since.
