The shaded creek at the dog park, fed by snow capped mountain runoff, is always the last to give up the winter cold. In fact, it is still quite chilly in midsummer.
So despite all the sunshine and decent temps, there are still icicles hanging near the water. I think it is interesting to see the difference between the narrow pointy icicles made from drips, and the big fat columns made from splash.
