Digging for Treasure

At the castle this week the moat is being dredged in preparation for some repair works to be carried out on the stone work underneath, deep within the Edward 1 bathhouse. So, the silt is all being removed (thick sludgy smelly stuff) and being removed by tanker to another area where it will all be sifted to see what treasures lie beneath! so far there has been masonry and bottles uncovered. I rarely post an extra but couldn't resist for the 'treasure' that had escaped to roped area and was resting upturned in the silted moat.
