Mountain View

A lot of the day was spent waiting for a friend to turn up to fix my car which has been out of action for about a month. We were away and then Paul was ill. The short story is that it's likely not to be sorted until later next week. Aren't cars a pain.

To see some of the day I headed up my local mountain. The sun was out, and the views were clear across towards the Brecon Beacons National Park. The mountains from Left to Right are; Corn Ddu, Pen-Y-Fan and The Cribbin. The blip picture must be getting on for 20 miles away!

About a quarter of a mie away I could see a bird sat on a tree that looked like a bird of prey. The extra shows it. Are you able to identify it. My guess is a red kite?
