Shipwreck,Cefn Sidan
It has been another glorious sunny day so we took full advantage and had a walk on our local beach. This is one of the 182 known wrecks along this 7 mile stretch of shore. Most occured in the 18th & 19 centuries when there were many ships negotiating the tricky channels of the Burry Estuary to collect coal and iron from Pembrey,Burry Port and Llanelli, to be taken all over the world. This time I didn't get wet as the tide was far out.
