'A Grand Day Out!'

A great walk today but much longer than we had planned!  The original plan was to go to the Falkirk Wheel and have a walk from there but a missed turning and road works changed our route slightly. We drove instead to the Kelpies car park and after a coffee in the new visitors' centre we decided to walk from there to the Wheel ..... a distance of about 4.5miles.  A beautiful walk along by the canal.  A welcome spot of lunch at the Wheel but then we had to walk back to the car!
