...or serves me right for changing lenses at the last minute. I'll get back to that statement later.

My wife brought the kids into town for lunch. Very nice, and I thoroughly enjoyed cajoling our little boy to pay a little bit less attention to going to the ladies' toilet, and more towards his delicious and expensive lunch. Carolyn then took the kids off to the Camera Obscura, while I trudged back to the office.

After work I drove back into town to pick the intrepid explorers. On the way home we stopped at an outdoor market in Stockbridge. One of the stalls was selling coffee from a converted Volkswagen van. I had a nice chat with the owner and nearly submitted a picture of her at work, making our cup of latte. However, this subject was just sitting at the back of the van and I liked how comfy she looked. At the time I assumed she was a friend of the owner, but she might even have been a customer. Anyway, I tried to capture some of that cosiness, the soft light and her big smile.

I'm afraid that technically the shutter speed is far too low, because I swapped out my fast-ish f/2.8 lens at home for a slower zoom. Lesson learnt, I hope.
