Veggies look away now....

You can't beat a mid week roast...
It's made even better when the pork has been raised completely free range by a friend 4 miles down the road. Not a farm - just someone with 2 mama pigs as pets. I even visited the piglets when they were only a week old and the grown pigs a few weeks before 'the deed' was done.
Maybe a little morbid people may think but I personally feel much more comfortable having this pork on my plate having seen what a happy life they led, rooting around a wide open field and enjoying scraps from the house, than eating meat I know nothing about.
The sausages are might fine too....
